Your Best Skin Yet with Denver’s Favorite Esthetician

Beauty isn’t just about the big day—it’s about the journey leading up to it. While makeup can enhance, it can’t erase texture or replace the glow of healthy skin. Give your skin the care it deserves long before the final look is applied. Investing in yourself early means your makeup won’t just sit beautifully—it will truly shine. Because a flawless application doesn’t start with the brush, it starts with the skin beneath it.

Brands

There is no one I trust more than my own master esthetician, Skincare with Rachel, located on Broadway in the city of Denver. I trust her with my skin and I trust her with your glow for all of my brides and clients!

Rachel is originally from Michigan but her love for the mountains and skiing led her to move out west in 2008 and earned her Master Esthetics Degree in 2013. Since then, she has been dedicated to practicing ethical, results-driven esthetics.

Rachel has so graciously shared her advice for brides-to-be or anyone looking to prepare for a big day where your face will be in every single photo.

Non-invasive Treatments for Brides

“Begin treatments at least six to eight months prior to wedding day or your special event. These treatments will vary on your skin concerns but can include: stem cell microneedling, mild/mid level peels, HydraFacial and dermaplane. The HydraFacial and Dermaplane combo, being the last facial before the big day – the same week of wedding if possible!”

Products You Shouldn’t Use | Don’t during Wedding Week

This is not the time to experiment with anything new, but especially avoid, “anything containing active ingredients, for example: retinol, glycolic acid, mandelic acid, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This will prevent any negative reactions or redness on the skin as well as photo sensitivity.”

What to Do | Do’s during Wedding Week

“Now this is the time to focus on all things hydrating and nourishing for your skin! Include a rich moisturizer, hydrating masks, hydrating mists, hyaluronic acid, sunscreen, and anything with peptides. Consider using an under eye mask the week of or at least the morning of your event. Most importantly, consume foods that make you feel good – plenty of fruit and water.”

Maintain Glowing Skin – Even After the Big Day!

We can’t stress this enough, don’t lose momentum, stick with your routine! “Slowly introduce an exfoliant – think of this like a reset button after the long-lasting makeup days. Ease back into active ingredients – not all too fast and at the same time. Get a great SPF hat for the honeymoon and be sure to reapply sunscreen every two hours if you’re going somewhere sunny.”

People invest so much on beauty services for the day-of but the investment should begin long before that, this is the time to treat yourself. Makeup can never hide texture, that is something only aesthetic services can help with – the makeup doesn’t need a perfect canvas but it needs a healthy canvas. If you’re in the Denver area, I highly recommend scheduling aesthetic services with Skincare with Rachel!
